sensitive on calm day`s-light bobbins ,less sensitive on windy days-heavier bobbins ;)...as per norm

From what you have just said the alarm is now to dictate what weight of bobbin the angler uses dependant on the weather. The only drawback there is the weather is very rarely what dictates the use of heavy or light bobbins, for me at any rate.
Margin fishing slack lines in a wind, I wouldnt want the thing bleeping every couple of seconds.
Nor would I want it to copy the Delkims when it hailstones. Yesterday I was using 4oz bobbins fishing into a moderate SE'er, the rafts of canadian blowing up the line and the waves were causing the indicator to rise and fall 1/2" at times, which I got round by decreasing the sensitivity.
If your indicator is to be succesful on the market it must cover all situations. Remember the Vipers, bleep city!

Not having a pop just constructive critism.

ok your fishing 4 oz bobbins, very heavy bobbins to me,to me and everyone else, that means tight lines..equal to being clipped up to me if yer fishing the margins with 4oz bobbs.
...unless!! your casting out, tightening the line down to the bottom, then fishing slack line and putting a 4oz bobbin on to rest and feeding out till slack and having yer bobb dangling, then the weed catches the line near the rod tip and draggs yer line..giving yer 1/2 inch lifts and bleeps and once bit of weed gathers..so does more...to me, that can be dealt with simply without losing sensitivity on alarms...sink the rod tips to near the bottom after casting and have yer rod-tips submerged..virtually touching the bottom 2ft under...
..but you can do this what you wanna achieve, the same, with this alarm also...when the 4oz deadweight bobbin is slack at the bottom...it becomes less sensitive..but you`ll have to wait for video evidence..sooon just for you!!!

I think it's great in this disposable age when people are still making their own tackle.
Well done Timber.

Now, if James Dyson was a specialist angler............... ;\)

cheers manager...hopefully it`s sommat a bit different than the norm and also prove decisive

...on top of the extension box now for these alarms which gives full one toner screamers,i`ve now got a reciever system up n running for it,with vibration and/or sound..and for windknot ;\) bit of info..the alarms have to be triggered for one full second before reciever gives off sound,so you mute the head and that half inch weed twitch isnt picked up on it the reciever is diddy also ,the transmitter also and will hopefully operate up to 4 heads and any heads on the market ;\) ..long battery lifes on both..vid comin..very very soon
