Markj, THEY are people I work with, THEY are people I have known for years, THEY are people I have married. Peopl who understand whats happening realise what Benitez is doing, and is capable of.....he is transforming Liverpool Football Club.
He doesnt, currently, have a squad to win the title, but he can take anyone on. He will have, dont fret about it.
Frankly, fella, if I wanted an honest opinion on what THEY wanted, or approved of, the last person I would ask for that opinion is a hypocritical Manc like yourself. Go enjoy your lottery, your becoming Pompous

well, as a purely hypothetical statement, losing in a semi against Chelsea would have been better than losing a final against Man U...I dont believe we would have done, however I would agree with their sentiment.
I think there is a difference between arrogance and realism....
Do you never question things, Tony. Why, with al the hype and money, has no English club reached a CL final since 99, then all of a sudden a premier league manager demonstrates how to do it, reaching three semis/two finals in three years, and now everyone gets there for fun.
Even the mighty tramp finally plays tactical and even rests players, and reaches his second final in 20 odd years....shameful when you think of the players he has had.....still, its only a lottery anyway 
...just Moyes to suss it now

because you cannot admit that the mancs are better than you lot at the moment,
er, Tony, Manchester United are a better team than we are at the moment mate....have I ever said otherwise 
However, I truly believe Benitez is a more astute manager than Wenger, Ferguson or Mourinho, and I believe he will win the league next season, certainly before 7 years..it just takes time to develop a league winning squad..unless you can chuck 350 million at it in one go of course.
I just like to remind Man U fans about things , thats all matey..26 years, relegation, Veron to win europe, Micheal Knighton etc
This lottery bollo4s was based on biterness and envy and has come back to bite them on the ar5e....hillarious. Still, I guess they felt they were safe assuming they would never reach another final....."er, Rafa, Alex here....any tips on how to beat Barca"..
