Try using the dearer unleaded fuel in the coleman for longer life on the generator. I have half a dozen stoves that are useless here now and have been collected over the years. Some only lasted a few months and have been repaired time and time again. I now use the dearer low sulphur fuel that you can buy from the pump and have had no problems with the coleman I am using now. The thing seems to burn much cleaner hence will not coke up as it would with normal unleaded. Although its a little dearer than normal unleaded it is much cheaper than colemans own fuel and no messing about with redex.

Put some V Power petrol in yer coleman and it goes forever.

Tweeks its injection timing and it will do 0 to 60 in 5.2 seconds

Always store your Coleman with full pressure in the chamber. ;\)

There's a guide in The Tackle Box catalogue to properly looking after a Coleman stove. Since I started following it I've not had a moments trouble out of my Peak one or Sportster models, and hence see no need to switch to gas.

They are a little when using petrol, a little quieter on the gas,but very reliable.

hye everyone,i did this to mine
drill your filler cap and fit a tyre valve connector(srew type with a couple of fibre or dowty washers to seal it)
then you can pump it up with a bike pump or if your brave enough a compressor.
nice proper flame everytime without the ball ache of pumping it up with the crap one fitted.(which wears away anyway)

Trangia, no brainer. Everything in one little holder, nothing to go wrong, nothing to forget.

Mine now in its eighth year. Quite why anyone chooses anything else is beyond me.
