hiya i have just been offered a set of greys platinum 3lb tc rods anyone got any views on them . i have already got some century ngs 2.75tc and a set of fmjs, im thinking of selling my fmjs as they are not the best players and buying the platinums for my trips to france, any opinions would be much appreciated
that is useful information. if the rods suit what you want then buy them. I'm sure if you actually used your noggin and did a search you may find out more.

Why change what isn't broken? You have 2 sets of very good rods that will cope with everything you will encounter in carping from margin work to extreme distance and due to Century's autoclave process will last a very long time.
Personally I can't see the point of moving to a set of far eastern cheapos with a hefty price tag. Some of Greys' stuff is great yet they do or have had bad problems with some of their range due to outsourcing blank manufacture.
