Just like those killer pike and catfish stories!

The pic I saw of the fish looks like it's been dead for ages. Most likely it was dumped in the river, died pretty quickly because of the cold water and the bloke found it saying he caught it for a bit of publicity.

Snakeheads are £7.99 each in my local tropical fish shop. I liked the look of them but apparently they are aggressive little swines who won’t get on with my Lake Malawi Chicilds.

How many non angler city types would release their beloved fish when it got too big for the tank


For my experience the vast majority of tropical fish shops are have outstanding ethics but are more concerned with the fish they sell surviving, rather than the danger caused by releasing it into the wild.
