I have had Chris brown banksticks and bars for years now and they are still nearly as good as new (minus some paint)and extremely light.

Chris Brown's products are all top class. I'm still using one of his landing nets today, and I've had it over 20 years...;\)

Got the 3 rod, 2 rod and pod set ups from Mr Brown after Paul recommended them to me about 18 months back.

Top quality gear with a life time guarantee. Light as you like, the bars can not twist on the sticks. Alarms line up easily.

Personnaly wouldn't bother with Solar, Matrix etc now over priced and over weighted.

His gear gets a thumbs up from me.

I made my own butt rests out of silver birch whilst fishing duringa winter an dthey are still going.

It's amazing what you can do when the going is slow, the nights are long and you are fishing alone...harmonica out as well!!!!!!

Are the but rests for your rods or your fat arse coz you would need to drop a few Oaks for that fella

I bought all the gear for a three rod pod about eight years back. Still looks almost as good as new. If I ever lost or broke anything I would go straight back and odrer some more.

The three rod goal post set up is one of the lightest around and probably one of the cheapest. If you want to point your rods at your bait, I imagine that you use single banksticks. In this case, don't bother with Chris Brown stuff as you won't gain anything that you can't get elsewhere.

The beauty of CB products is that they are all custom built to match each other. The banksticks have a square top so they butt up perfectly to the angled buzzer bars. The buzzer bars have a flat top so delkims don't 'rock'.

Just because it's not a well known name doesn't mean it's not good, it just means it's not commercially produced!

Its the same as that Bruce Ashby rocketeer you lads advised me to get.

It's now in it's sixth year, has chucked what must be tonnes of spod mix, been trampled by a cow, snapped, repaired and will not die.

I had a Century as a replacement for 1 week. Hated it, bulky and clumsy.

Quality gear is quality gear. Nothing to do with names, just pure quality.

I agree, chris's gear has stood the test of time and is really good value for money well designed and exceptionally well made.
