why don`t you buy a pod instead of trying to smash your banksticks into rock hard banks and putting every fish in the lake on edge

I'll 2nd that, the ally pods are light as well, ideal for the long haul, I do use a pod occasionally, but if you're like me and prefer sticks have a look at the Chub storm poles. They do an all in brolly with zip infill, light and heavy ground sheets and 16 pegs, £129.00, anyway, there are 2 pairs of poles, long and short and the best thing is they are fitted with a screw, none of that bashing them in , they screw in. Dont what the damage is as stand alone poles but well worth looking at,and, cheaper than a pod

Thats what my thinkin is was having a look a bit back and found his name and stuff but went for matrix shine but want a lighter set up cause its a right trek to one of my local waters, can it be smashed through gravel and hard stuff cause all other ali gear ive had looks like ive thrown it under a 18 wheeler all broken and dead
Or you could just stop trying to seek out the latest 'cult' supplier of carp sh111t thats cool to be seen on the bank with and buy four or six bog standard fox banksticks which are more than up to the job without being a mallet weilding prick on the bank...
No doubt you'll have the latest ultra cult must-be-seen-with-on-the-bank fancy over priced bobbins that only a handful of 'in crowd' anglers have heard of...won't you just be the talk of the water....
How did they cope years ago using three rods without all these ultracu*t buzz bar/bankstick companies supplying banksticks that simply went into the ground....
Smell the coffee that is reality man...

my local is near on a half a mile walk from the road over rough ground lightweight is whats needed bad back an all, fox banksticks (even tho i asked bout buzzer bars but did ask bout smashing through hardground) are alright but ive gone through more then i care to remember. As for pods i wont use one as i like my rods to be pointed at my baits its a cult thing you see in the mags
