Filthy, a cracking pic indeed, but one I cannot take credit for. A mate emailed it to me last year…………. your post about cannibal pike and US influence jogged my memory.

It’s a mind boggling story/photo from Canada.

The story goes…………Both pike in the picture above where landed as the bigger one refused to let go (!) , as far as we have found out the pike being eaten weighed 14lb and the weight of the biggun is unknown.

If anybody can find out any more, that would be interesting.

I’ll have a go at posting the picture of the biggun below. Hope it works because it’s an eye popper.

\:o It's a tad sizeable like!

For posting pics you can either copy the linked thumbnail coding for the pic in the gallery that will open a new window with the pic in in the gallery, like below....

or to put a pic directly in a thread from the gallery right click on your pic in the gallery, then click on properties and copy the url in the properties window and do the usual img square brackets thing....like this...

Tyler Koenen obviously rules. I interpret his post as …take to me the spot where you caught it and I’ll guarantee a world record sheep. Irresistible.

I’m going to put in some posts

Lets grill punky……………….

brilliant fish
brilliant photography

It’s the biggest pike I have ever seen. If anybody can prove me wrong?

Does it count though because the fish was not directly hooked?

and i'm awaiting moderation...................

thanks for help with photo's, i'll give it a go next time.

have a look on google image for more photo's of the pike

anybody care to estimate the weight, I have a figure in my head.

That pic shows its size a bit better. It's rather large like but looks quite empty so prob not as heavy as it looks but well over 40.
