I have pm'd you the website, not sure if its classed as a commercial link ;\)

Its come a long way..14lb bream, 10lb tench ....and decent carp....the product of lost livebaits way back I bet. If you fish the Island, eel section at night was good, with one rod quite close in.

Its a cyclical water, so dont take my word wether its hot or not for pike at the moment ;\)

Hi Dave, read your PM

I sent PM with the name of a bay that is the best place to start. The venue has got busier in the last 4 years but most don’t explore the massive expanse.

It’s a popular spot so Pike do drop baits if they feel resistant from rigs. Anywhere else on the venue they will strip line off your multiplier.

The good thing about this bay (and it’s massive) is that the pike respond well carp style tactics and are taken at night. It’s most important to get up there at the right time (March to May) otherwise the pike are extremely hard to locate when they leave the bays.

Currently there are plenty of fish coming out at good weight to length ratio’s, defiantly in with a shout of a good twenty and a possible 30. Alternatively, like most venues it can switch off for a week.

If you do decide to go, let me know. A good friend is building a house on the shore.
