Chris, there's plenty of wild water fishing to be had in the Atlanta area. Sweetwater Creek State Park is the best bet for catching a fish of any size. It's only about 30 min. from downtown Atlanta. A daily pass is $3.00 There are several paylakes around Atlanta if you want to try them. You might also want to get in touch with English Bob over on the CAG site. He and several others fish Carter's Lake and do well there. It's about an hours drive from Atlanta, but has some really good carp and buffs. Just let us know when you're coming and we will try to hook up....Cornbread

Just spent a very interesting day at a 4000 acre damned lake close to Atlanta, just like pioneering in France in the old days!! This lake has not been drained since the 1940's....watch this space...
