we hav had 9 good perch up to 3lb up to now, carry on perching. Pike r my main target. 37 when 1972 gotta be jokin lol.

went out satday with my lad. Had 1 lost 4, them cheap partridge hooks for trafford are crap, stick to fox. back out next week get up near the bay moltan seem to be alot of fish up there.

You chasin the Bay Molten monster then? He will be long gone now.

Out yesterday myself diferennt canal though. Had 8 lost 3 in the ice which i had to break early doors till the barges arrived. Beautiful day though, top piking weather.

Well done on the perch, everytime I put me kevlar rig out I get a soddin pike! Whats the secret?

The 37 was from the dock not the bridgy. Never saw it meself though so who knows.

The bridgy has done a 32 at broadheath a few years ago. In fact its done two but they may have been the same fish.

Did a couple of hours today. God it was cold, really suprised it wasn't frozen. Just had one little fella on float fished sardine, painfull unhooking him in the water , fffffffreezin!

Went out today add 5 2 8lb. Weather not to bad. Seen a top perch nailing some fry.Must be about 3lb.

I was at Bay Molten today. Didnt see you?

Did 2 hours there and caught more snags than I have ever done in my whole angling life. Its gin clear and full of building rubble, prams etc.

Got p%ssed off with it and went to my other canal and had 6 in three hours.

Bloody bridgy! Bloody tip more like!
