I'm 16 actually, and if I were dumb I wouldn't have 10 GCSEs ranging from A* - C, and I wouldn't be studying A - Levels...

Yes, as you have prooven...

Just leave it out please mate, I seriously arn't trying to annoying you by saying that expensive rods don't catch more fish, and I suppose you have a point about reaching places better that cheap rods can't. But many people would agree that they don't catch more fish, but I have no problem with you spending your money, so do what you wish, I was just stating a non - argumentative point...

Does spending a lot on rods mean that you catch more fish?

Toni.... If you passed English GCSE at grade C or above then I am seriously worried for the future of our great language.... If you are studying it at A level then there is absolutely no hope....

That was obvious in that one sentence.

Pete, after viewing the posters on this and other forums for the past 12 months,or more,I am of the opinion that most people aren't studying English.
But what can you do about it?.................

This is very true, but by the same token most people aren't claiming to have 10 GCSE's A-C grade and currently studying for A levels.

For Tonyboi's benefit...£506 a pair, £418 with standard plastic reel fittings

That's an awaful lot of money for the ability to freeze your hands onto your rods in cold weather

For the record - Harrissons for me, 12' 3Ibs, built by YAC with full handles.
