i am sort of new to carp fishin with my biggest at 24lb but for a 15yr old it anit bad. so i need a little help on finding a good carp water in essex so can any of u help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where abouts are you in essex and i will tell you of some waters near to you as possible and are you looking to better tour personal best.

YC Try Aquatels (PIPPS HILL) it ain't a bad place,there are some nice fish in there if you look for them but i'm not to sure if it is still open or not?.

Also well worth a shout is Crowsheath near Hanningfield Reservior. Not fishing well at present, but should pick up soon. Gary Norton runs the water there has his own website - www.essexcarpers.co.uk
worth a look, fish go to 30, about 6 20's and plenty of upper doubles. There are also about 6 catfish, 1 believed to be about 40lb.
