Is it just me, or are we getting far stronger winds these day's. All the talk is about global warming and it's effect on temperatures and how it is effecting the seasons. I have not read anything regarding the winds. I have been night fishing since the middle 70s and cannot remember them being as bad as they have been in the last two years.

Any thoughts?

craftyangler - take a look at http://www.uea.ac.uk/~e870/weather.html if you want lots of information on this topic.

And more specific info on the UK and climate trends are at http://www.guardian.co.uk/globalwarming/story/0,7369,655811,00.html

And in an interview with James Baker, Ph.D., Administrator, U. S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Washington, D. C, he seems to agree with you. Details at http://www.earthfiles.com/earth107.htm
