From home, I seem to be able to use a logon name only once. Fine as long as I am on but if I log off - no way to get that name to work a 2nd time.

From work, no problems.

I tried the thing you suggested of putting in a name and saying I forgot my password. Script error. I will post it here in a second as soon as I log off (and destroy this account too I imagine).

I would appreciate any help from the admins or maybe a programmer.

OK. The exact error I get when asking for a password to be emailed is:

Warning: Failed to Connect in D:\wwwroot\www.fishingwarehouse.co.uk\ubbthreads\start_page.php on line 92

And I don't get anything sent either.

XP Pro, IE6.

Hi Newt,

I feel this is down to XP Pro. . . I will try to find out if there is a fix but please confirm you are using this on the comp you have no problems with.

Please also confirm you have your preferences set to accept cookies and also any firewall correctly configured.

If still a problem please e.mail me direct.

Steve

Stephen - my system at work and the one at home are set up identically except for the OS. 2KPro at work; XP Pro at home.

Not only accepting all 1st party cookies but while trying to sort this out, set everything to "very low safety" and even made the FW site "trusted" for a bit. No help.

Firewall should be fine unless your software wants to use a really strange port. In that case, if you can let me know which, I can/will open a port. The work firewall is already much more restrictive than mine at home but work is doing fine.

The odd part to me is that I can use an account for as long as I want and it works fine. Just can never log back on after the first time I use the account.
