hi everyone!

I figured that as this is such a hot site, and with so many 'wired' anglers on the internet, i wanted to try and sell my pair of Grey's F1 carp rods 12ft 3 1/2lb test curve rods. These rods are in absolute mint condition, and have only been used once. They really are stunning rods, and are excellent casting tools (125 yards +). I have played two twenty's, a 23lb 8oz and a 25ib 3oz on them, and they really are superb. I inherited alot of money after a relative's death (in relative terms; i am only 16) and wanted to by an aesthetically pleasing and a very good all round rod. Unfortunately, i have to sell these for personal reasons, and resume using my old 2 1/2lb Symetres. I would be very grateful if someone is interested in purchasing them. They cost a modest £325.00 for the pair; not bad as they cost me £450.00 a pair brand new. These are one of the best rods on the market, and are under a 2yr guarantee. After seeing the above post, it struck me that it would be a good idea for the site, a second hand sales area. The only site I know that handles anything like is carplines.com, but I can't seem to raise them recently. Anybody any ideas?

Just a quick question.

It seems that people are asking for these Delkim conversions just of late.

Do you prefer them to the newer alarms. I have Delkim conversions that are many years old now and still going strong.

I've had 2 conversions for about 13 years(but they've been redundant for about the last 7) and thought that I would now try to get a third just so I had a spare set of buzzers.There was an article in Carp Fisher recently about some guy cleaning his tackle up for the new season and in one of the photo's were 6 pristine Delkim conversions - it just reminded me that I wanted one!

I think that they've still got a certain "cult" status about them.

There's a guy called Darren Henwood who used to do them - I'm not sure if he still does.Del Romang gave me his name and number a couple of years ago and said that he was the only person who had been given the full details for the conversions.The number is 01708 730513........that's in Romford.
