Hi mate, you'll not go far wrong with M-16 bait services CSL pellets they have an excellent breakdown time and really do attract fish. I also use there jumbo hemp pellets which are simply superb. give him a ring if your not sure he'll probably do you a small amount just to try out.

Cheers,

Pete.

Maltbys in Hull do them for £19.99 for a 25kg sack.

Take a good look around and you will find C.S.L pellets are not made for carp angling or any angling.
And the most you should be paying for a 20kg sack is £5.00.
These are available country wide.
Just do some homework and you can avoid another carp angling bait rip off.

The pellets that Clive is talking about are an "oversprayed" animal feed pellet.
There is a C.S.l pellet manufactured for the fishing industry, as a well known bait company and myself are involved in it.
If you put each in a glass of water, you will see that one breaks down leaving a pile of crumb whilst the other does the same but leaves broken maize grains and turns the water dark brown as it oozes corn steep liquor out of it.
The pellets Clive talked about, I actually did sell at one time, but were an inferior product but still caught fish.
As for £5 a sack, you get what you pay for.

Hi Jase,
How are you?
Yes your right but as I said do your homework and you can find the C.S.L pellets that are sold to bait and tackle firms.
Like you say they break down and turn the water dark brown as the C.S.L leaks out around them.
We have compaired nearly all commercial tackle/bait firms pellets with the ones we have found and there is no difference other than ours seem to be carrying more C.S.L.
Nothing to technical just that we have broken down maize as you have and very dark coloured water as you have.
Also I might add between the dozen or so of us using them we have out caught most anglers fishing the waters we have used them on .
As you know I have no vested interest in any tackle or bait company (No offence intended)but when a carp angling shop near me sells C.S.L pellets at £60.00 per 20 kgs and he gets them from the same supplier as I do for £5.00 per 20kgs the great carp angling bait rip off is still in full flow.
And as I said to you at the Carp Society show when fished against the most expensive carp brand of C.S.L pellets catch rates are no different and this was done on two different waters over three months.
Like you say you get what you pay for, ripped off or with a little effort not ripped off.
