lads....i'm not a big user of pellets myself, and i've no idea about their price really either!
last weekend at the nw carp society meeting, everyone who attended was given a 1k bag of csl pellets, these came from a firm called carpstream ltd,and they are located in the speke area of liverpool.
there is a website....
http://www.carpstream.co.uk
not much info really, just an email button for enquiries.
i can tell you that they are charging £25 for a 25 kilo sack of csl pellets (add p+p if your not collecting)
not sure wether thats a good price, but its a starting point for some of you i suppose.i can't comment on there effectiveness,as i say,i'm not a big pellet user....but i hope its a help
cheers mark
ps for those of you who prefer to phone them, the number is 0151-486-8866

CSL is a waist product I believe from some process involving maize, don`t know which.I have been told it is available free as you are saving the firm money on waist disposal costs, the only drawback is you have to take a minimum 1000 litres of the stuff.I suppose you could drink 999 litres and take whats left for baitmaking, or you could open a bait firm and make a small fortune, just a thought. The pellets are cattle pellets I believe but are made by different firms so effectiveness may vary.
Come on lads lets not be affraid to "spill the beans" so to speak they are hardly a secret edge people are trying to save a bit of wallet filler.
