My brother-in-law is looking for a set of 3 2.25 or 2.5lb rods around £100 each. He's looking at the Giants & Harrisons etc and particularly the Challenger IIs from Maddocks/Leeda which he can get for £99 which retail at around £140 usually. Has anyone any knowledge of the Maddocks ones particularly as I know the Giants have been reviewed well but can find nothing on the Maddocks Challengers. Any others to look at?

i have a couple of giants 2.5 very nice for the money.
rated the best at that price range by everyone
