can anyone give me a bit of advice.i'm looking to buy a set (3) new rods they need to be able to get a bait out over 100 yds but ive only got about £110 to spend on each one.ive looked at Fox extremes and also Daiwa powermesh ld's. 12ft 2.75 or maybe 3lb test

Hi Cheapesy,
have a look at the Nash Hooloiguns 12 foot 3lb i've got them and they do for me.They even do them 13 foot 3 1/2 lb if you want for less than £ 100. Hope this helps

i have used the giant rods and they are very nice for the money. the 2.5 tc suited me where as i found the 3 lb tc a little stiff ( i still use it for my feature finding).not tried the 2.75 tc yet.
