Can you recommend the best rod available about the £100 mark??

There are some very good rods around the price range, at the top end I would look at the new Fox Extreme, a very nice looking rod with good build quality, and importantly a nice line clip, at the lower end you should check out the Nash Hooliguns, again good build, nice clip, and so far I haven't heard anything bad about them.

How much are the Fox Extreme's and do they make them in the Lighter TC's?

Colin Davidson reviewed budget £100 bracket 2.75tc carp rods this summer in Anglers Mail and the Giant model won hands down.
Rods makers seem to be shying away from 2 to 2.25tc models these days with many makers starting their range at 2.5 or even 2.75tc.
The same applies to 11` models - does no one fish small farm pools these days?
