just a thought.!has anyone thought of using bloodworm in the cageball(solar)which could be covered in a fine denier stocking (nylon)material and fished in a bloodworm bed?? any veiws, ive not done it,but i seem to remember an ancient Dick Walker article on a simialar theme (obviously without the solar ballcage)it might be worth trying..tom.k

I had to check my calender when I spotted the 'new' ball cage. Thought it was April 1st. By the way, where can I buy a very small hamster to put inside these new balls? Bob

Hey, Bob, don't knock it! They are the only thing I have ever come acoss which appears to be totally crayfish-proof. I have meshed my baits before and even then they have been attacked and destroyed by the damn crays. Bait cages work in keeping the buggers off me bait!!! Cheers Chris

I wouldn't have thought so. You only have to consider the crap that some carp eat (by that I mean swan mussells and shells/stones) and they all seem to pass through rheir stomach easily. The pssibility of the cage coming apart is also pretty unlikely - have you ever tried putting one of them together? It's hard work! Cheers Chris
