Whats your views,does anybody use them?I read that you can tell if you have had a pickup,find that hard to belive,if you are having sucess on them,a few pointers on making them would be gratefully accepted

when its blown back,it usually stays back and gets caught in the no-knot.thats how u know a fish picked it up when u reel in!
u probably have to change rig after each fish,the long shank hooks blut very very easily!me&mark were using them on decoy,mark wasnt losing as many when he changed over!

thinking bout them for fid?

There have been a couple of previous threads on the blow-back rigs. Personally, I tend to use the Carp 'R' Us versions. All I do to these is to adjust the hair length where required and to add a sausage stop to sit under the bait. The primary use of this is to stop the bait either dropping down the hair or swelling over the ring. It also helps prevent tangles.
