I need to buy a new rod holdall as I can only have three set up in my current one.
I have had a look at the Shimano four rod holdall and it looks the business except for the little tag at the bottom which states 'Made in China'. Should this necessarily worry me ? Has anyone out there ever bought one ? I would be grateful for any comments.

I just bought one of the ones with cypry written on them. I think it is shakespeare but i may be wrong. It is a thirteen foot one that is designed to take three made up rods but because of the huge padded centre i can put five made up in it. It was only £42 brand new.

Bob,
Backtrack on the Badger thread using the search button, also have a look at Gareth Watkins review of the Chub quiver sleeve holdall in carp reviews.
UK made it`s down to Aqua quiver and the Cotswold range(Multirod quiver is v.nice but pricey),everything else is Far Eastern manufactured but then if the prices are low it`s getting to the stage now when angling luggage is routinely junked and replaced every few seasons by alot of lads.
I`am currently using a Chub XL carryall as a offshore travel bag where it gets far worse treatment than on the bank and so far it`s come out intact after 6 months of trains, planes and choppers.
Diawa are planning a more "upmarket" range soon, perhaps Paul knows more about this
