hi all
i thought the harrier rig was when you used the air in a pva bag to lift particals off the bottom as it dissolves, rather like a harrier jump jet on take off. (just a thought).

I thought the standard Pete Broxup Harrier rig was getting into a boat and rowing the rigs and baits out?

That was it Paul - Pete Broxup's rig - whenever a Savay catch was reported for ages it was mentioned 'caught with the Harrier Rig'. I just wondered if it was real or a blind!

Someone must know!

I think it's something you use with Ken Townley's hover baits.

sdt,
I like the sound of that ,could you get it to just sink the lead and the rig etc?,the ultimate critically balanced rig, great for silty bottoms.

mmmmm.......Try a stringer of solar packaging foam to make it all float, then when they disolve your rig should go down to the bottom with less force than a cast........ (kitchen idea).....
