Darren, there is a review and pic in the review section here.
I'll just say they are the best reels I've ever had - and I've had them all over the years.

Darren, I've just realised you are talking about the new reels (Silly Billy!) and not the Emblems which is what I was referring to. My apologies.
I expect mine are in the post, (will chase Daiwa on Mon if they don't arrive!) and will post a review once I've put them through their paces.

paul, it maybe somting you haven't tried specificly, but are the cheapy emblems any good, or do i spunk my hard earned on the shiney ones?how do they compare to the arelex's which have a terrible habit of the line getting caught behind the spool, is this such a problem with the diawa ones,

Lofty,
The Diawa Emblems including the base (£60) S models have sprung line guards on the rotor arms to prevent line entrapment behind the spool.
To easily and cheaply cure this probelm on your Aerlex`s, cut and shape two pieces of self adhesive velcro (from sewing shops)and stick them on your rotor arms,it`s the soft side you need and not the hook side.
I`ve had this fitted this to my GT6000 Power aeros for the past 4 seasons and it works a treat and hasn`t needed replacing as yet.

I've heard they are called a Shimano Stargate Concept Stella F, and I quote "the Rolls Royce of fixed spool reels".

Anyone used 'em ??
