Try the dynema fused lines(yes, I know they are not mono, but they are so much better!) Berkley fireline is thinner, far more durable and abrasion resistant, and has little stretch(-1%) as compared to any mono. Dynema based lines also have no memory-they simply do not twist-and are unaffected by moisture, UV light or most chemicals. A neutral spectrum mono, such as a flourocarbon, is still superior as a lead, but the dynema lines are the way to go for the main line.

I use Berkeley Vanish[/b[ and must admit I have had no probs with it. I have used [b]Trilene SensiThin which I found very good for distance work as it has a fair bit less stretch than other monos. May try the ESP line when I need to respool. ------------------ Darren Wilson
