You can only choose one bait for the rest of your life.
What would it be?
Why?

If I had to choose just one bait for the rest of my life it would be the tiger nut.
It works anywhere is cheap and carp love them!

Activ-8 - absolutely awesome, but I'm buggered if I know what is in it!

Who are the carp consultants who have contributed at carpers lodge - just interested as I didn't recognise any of them. P.S who are they affiliated to ?

Sweetcorn, without a shadow of a doubt.

Even after all these years it emptied Wraysbury One and Horton (amongst others) last season.

The simple fact is that carp absolutely love the stuff. Crunchy, sweet and visible in its 'natural' state it can be dyed and/or flavoured almost limitlessly and even if they are wary of it they still can't help themselves if you put it in the right place.

Interested in your choice of bait. do you favour fresh or fermented Tigers? Have you tried the Frenzied version, they taste great to me and look superb! Any success in winter using the growlers?

I like to use them fermented - when they get crusty!
I don't know anything about the Frenzy version what are these?

"Frenzied" is the brand name of a ready produced Tiger in a tin, marketed by "Dynamite Baits".

In line with policy across the angling sites on the net I cannot allow direct links which have not been agreed. Hence, I have deleted the direct link but Dynamite baits can officially link with us no problem by clicking on the banner.
I'm happy to receive instructional material explaining their products to our members and where they can be obtained from.
I seem to remember the owner is a mate of my illustrator, Pete Curtis. I might be wrong, though.
