Hello Lofty

I stopped using Carp.Net after suffering the same thing that Paul has endured from users disagreeing with his posts and views on things. Didn't even give it a thought about letting people know about this or other forums due to the unwritten 'no-soliciting' rule.

I used to think The Dukes of Hazzard was a comedy until I discovered Carp.Net.

Hi, Jack!
Nice to hear from you. Catching? Send me your news with any pics.
We'll be setting up a BB just for you guys before long, so us Brits can argue amongst ourselves, share tips and a joke between ourselves here. Our carp fishing is so very dissimilar to yours Jack in many ways.

interesting last post on the other board lofty.

I think there is room for everybody. Lets face it, angling is so diverse. This entire site was conceived to help ALL anglers. The louder the voice the bigger the area on the site. We will always promote 'smaller interests' say specimen eels or sea-trout. But the point is that this particular area will deal with mainly UK carp angling issues. We are planning a USA area - with hopefully much cross questions - as and when we get visits.

Hope this helps

Steve

I was hoping we could all come together to share our carp fishing adventures and not keep dividing up into smaller and smaller groups on 100 different boards that keep getting more secluded from each other, we should be using the net to join together.
