Warcop.,......Now thats a name that I recollect withn being very cold, wet, tired............Dressed up in cammo gear and believe it or not, not a fishing rod in sight.

Ahhhh the good old days when I used to run around firing a big gun and getting screamed at by the Seargent Major shooting targets on the range that Im sure is up that way....

At least all of my old army gear is now of some use to me in my bivvy for sleeping and fishing in.

As for rigs, Im having great success at the moment with about 5 inches of lead core attacted to a stainless ring with about 1.5 to 2 inches of Super Nova to a size 8 penetrator 2. I found that silkworm (is that the black and white braid) tended to shrink when steam was applied to shrink tube, resulting in the white strands standing out from the black strands.

As for Snake bite, I always had problems with strands of it coming away from the eye of the hook due to the single fibres being too thin for the "closed eye" of the hook.

Well Warcop, it seems I stitched myself up in grand style. I thought you were someone with sci-fi comic/Sylvester Stallone fantasies, but my gentle urine extraction has blown back all over me. I must confess that I had to put Warcop into a search engine to find out if there really is such a place. I had to laugh though.
