Why are the line clips on the new Emblem's so crap?At £200 (RRP) per reel is it not possible to have a line friendly clip for that price?

Tell me about it! They are crap!
We got it right with the previous Emblems but got it wrong on these - or rather Daiwa did - the Carp Team were completely unaware!
Personally, I've never used the line clip on any Emblem - I just cast out and rely on my technique. With the latest Emblem, Brian Skoyles showed me a solution to the problem. Fix two very short pieces of power gum/pole elastic into the recess. Line can then be clipped up, safely as normal.
Sorry, mate, beyond my control. If this doesn't work let me know.
You shouldn't be paying £200 per reel anway - no one sells at RRP today.
