I wasn't getting stroppy at all.
I see my aim on this site as helping our members as best I can. I have been carp fishing a long time, have seen it all, and have fished a lot of waters and caught a few.
I'm not here to ram Nutrabaits, Nash or Daiwa down anyone's throats even though I have an association with those companies. I am here to give impartial advice. Anyone who has read my writings over the years will know that. The baiting strategy Marc suggested was a joke (not an attack on you Marc), candidly, as is much of the advice he has subsequently been given by others in this thread, and shows he is very inexperienced as a carp angler as are some of the others who have given advice. If he doesn't want to accept mine because I am 'sponsored' then more fool him! Companies don't sponsor people who don't consistently catch lots of fish by the way!
For the record, I wouldn't be telling him to use Nutrabaits gear etc (I can't speak for JC), but I would be giving him advivce on how to catch the carp he wants to catch. I want him to keep coming back to this Forum, after all.
Oh, and to start another row (in the interests of this sport we all love) there is too much sniping at well-known anglers in some of the BB's on other sites from people who are not qualified to do the sniping, frankly!

Do you still think I know nothing about bait application having now read my baiting situation that I have described fully in the Essenial B5 thread. If so, what would you suggest, considering my frequency and length of sessions. There is no reply on that thread so I placed a request on here.

If that's describing it fully, perhaps I've missed something!
Honestly, mate, I'm just trying to help. It's up to you whether you want to accept that or refuse it.
