So I read someone has been fined £30,000, for illegally importing fish, do you feel that's enough? are the courts finally getting it right?

It's a good job that they didn't FINE the Monks that originally brought the Carp into this country. I would be fishing for Roach now.

One thing for sure, it is a step in the right direction. At least the courts are now taking the offence serious. More importantly, would be fish smugglers now know that they are not just going to get their wrists slapped. As for it being enough, it all depends upon the means of the induvidual. It would take me the rest of my life to pay that off, to a rich southerner like you its pin money.
Sorry! I shouldnt be making light of this subject.
