That's a problem on more sites with a "news" button ;-)

Here's an article about Badgers:
http://www.thecarpspecialist.nl/bestemmingen/serreire/serreire.pdf

It's a Dutch article but the pictures speak for themselves. ;-)

Paul are you talking about George (can't remember his surname), if so, he left a couple of years ago and went to Spain. As far as I know the lake is still operating.

Hi Dave, I know George did a runner and allegedly took the company vehicle....lol....it was being jointly run by an old fishing mate of mine called Harry Tattersall from Liverpool..there are no catch reports for yonks which surprises me....mind you with over 40 commercial fisheries up for sale here at the moment, perhaps its another one that can't make it pay.....? The owner is called Bob and he's doing ok. i think.
Badgers and Serreire can be booked through a dutch agent and plenty of my colleges drive down there to have a go.

I think it would be wise to be a bit carefull with talking in that way about other people. A "bad business depression" can be overcome Paul. ;-)

Dangling, I know the owner Bob Davies very, very well... thumbsup we go back a few years in the UK and we have fished the odd lake at the same time...lol...enquiring about his fishery does not imply anything other than simple curiosity as to why Bob isn't updating his website......wink

One of around 30 English-owned commercial fisheries for sale at the moment I can think of, proving how hard it is to make a decent living from the industry...wink that number up for sale is likely to increase in number as the French (rightly) start clamping down on the number of unregistered English-owned French fisheries..... Eyecrazy.....and also those that are registered finding it increasingly difficult to pay the social charges involved in taking on any employeees to lighten the workload.... cwm3
