Children are influenced and derive their motivation in life post around 5+ years, don't blame any particular government.... it's parents that have to take the can for this one.. and a severe lack of control and basic discpline and rules..

Don't politicise the general decline in standards in society, it is the fault of a prohibition (or decline) in the general ability to correct the actions of children.

Lets say ..A family does the right thing...Mothers and fathers hard working ..3 children...5 years to go on their mortgage...healthy pensions when they retire...nice nest egg for their children when they pass on etc...typical family in 1980...........Then ?


A govt comes in and decides to streamline business...kill the unions so they can bring in sunday trading laws on single rate pay and compulsory work at the weekends with a day off during the week.
Interest rates rocket to 15%...mother loses job in cuts..fathers out working weekends then loses his job...loses his home...home gets repo`d and auctioned...nestegg gone..still owe for home they no longer live...but the managing director has a multi-million pound bonus awarded for streamlining business...father applies for new jobs along with thousands of others...
What was instilled into his children of his family as now completely vanished...the right way to bring up a family as now become the wrong way....why?...was it their doing ?
Or was it a mistake by the parents of the country of the time -The govt ?
Now times the above by approx 6 million families x 3 children approx...?
