hello peeps,
Just thought i would let you know that after 18months of charting this lake,of 18 months of observation on this lake, after 18 months of blanking on this lake,i do believe i have now cracked it.(GO AND FISH SOMEWHERE ELSE)

thursday before last at 0345 12 hours after a new wind i had a nice steady take on one of my rods.after about 10 mins of pumping this way and that i eventually landed a 23lb 8oz common carp in prestine condition.

at 0515 i then landed a 19lb 4 oz common once again in prestine condition.

at 0630 i then lost a big fish at the net.

at 0715 i then lost another one at the net.

at 0800 i then landed a lovely 20lb 4oz common (red spots near tail)

in the next 24 hours i lost another 3 fish, 2 of which broke me after a short fight(think i may have found a muscle bed for the winter)as they came off the same rod and same position.

not bad for 48 hours fishing.

got a week up there in august and 2 weeks in september so will keep you up to date.

stumpy-joe de blanc-andy jack-filthy-colne alone-and anyone else who knows me

HOW ARE YOU LADS.

keep em coming
