Over the next couple of weeks if time allows gonna be making a boat from scratch. Well, not from scratch but adapting a cheap tiny boat and fitting it out with a few bits including hopper f/finder etc..longer distance radio etc because thats the only bit that lets this cheap boat down..the boat when finished will measure approx 40cm X 25 cm..and 15 cm high(very small and light and run for 2hrs off one charge)..will be able to drop a rig and approx half pound of bait at any distance under half a mile though would be hard to see it pmsl..
Costs coming in at approx 170 for everything i make it, give or take a few quid..keep thy eyes peeled for the smallest/lightest most versatile boat ever..here soon thumbsup

how about a step by step guide in a new build with parts sought and listed which will undoutably have problems to overcome whilst constructing but well worth a go...anyone ?

I don't know whether your interested but I've got an old bait boat that I've hardly ever used and certainly won't ever use now. Its got two servo's in it and the speed controller and I've also got the remote controll (which I think is for model planes).

In the past I re did the insides myself, replaced battery, rewired etc but never used it.

Only problem with it is the kids knocked it off its shelf in the garrage and broke the aerial off the boat and snapped the aerial on the remote.

If it's any use to you make me an offer or drop me a PM and I'll take some photo's for you.

Cheers
Rob
