just done my pb tench proper buzz-in i do have a go for them every now and then if i see them !! i have been to sywell had them 7lb 15oz had 8lb 8oz from a shropshire mere and two diffrent 8lb fish from kent littlebrook and larkfeild !!

no paul i was angling where tench and carp was holding up !! paul most tench anglers use so called carp methods now a days ie pellets boilie and even fake corn!!

i caught the pb tench over pellet hemp and half kg 14mm boilie what all tench anglers use on the lake i was on!! i have many times found tench and carp together and fished for them also most of the tench i have caught was on hemp black eyes and pellets boilie maple peas !! i guess that you are only fishing for tench if you have a 12mm boillie or less!! madness

Nice one Joe. All the tench lads on my syndicate use slightly scaled down carp gear (or what we used as standard for carp 20 years ago), rarely see them fishing ye olde style with antenna floats, etc. I plan on sticking at least one rod out specifically for tench as they have been caught up to 10lb in the past on there.

filthy a 10lb tench is a proper big fish!! i want a double figure tench this year and a double figure bream! the lake in question catch-in these fish at this size is all apart of getting through to the carp! so am not scale-in down! but i am putting one rod into the thoughts of catch-in bream and tench! i would also like a 20plus pike and a 3lb plus perch!!

on the dole now so want to broad-in my angling also i want the biggest grown carp in the land but that has to be done after 22nd july

Same goals as me Joe (bar the carp) but piking is seriously knacked round here now so getting a 20 is really hard. I did have one that is known to go 20+ one autumn so it was down in weight. A mid double pike from the river was a real good catch round here though.

The average tench caught on the syndicate is about 7lb so I reckon it'll be worth me having a go with one rod as I can use 4 rods. They don't seem to be a nuisance for carping either. I've a good chance of a 3lb plus perch from there too, it's just getting down there that is the problem with work at the minute. I'm run off my feet with no spare time and no money until the job is done

The tench I can understand, but the bream?

Just come back from a 3 day blank lol tench can be as hard to catch as carp then yip !! nah its coz am censored lol!! just seen a boss bit of angling me homie crissy has just strated angling with me to sandiway and showed me proper !! i was woke up to me scouse buddy over the moon he just smashed his pb tench !! 8lb 10oz on a waggler 6lb line size 12 double corn !! YES.... Now is this the type of angling tench anglers dream of lol well done crissy a capture i will remember for a bit lol !!! will load pics just have problems some times
