Anyone tried Ultima powerstiff for their rigs?
I just got a spool of the 22lb to try as an alternative to the ESP bristle stuff and after doing some strength tests I can quite safely say that I will not be using it.

After tying up a few lengths and giving them a good straight pull to see how strong it was I was amazed how easy it broke. It seems to kind of shatter anywhere along its length . Compare ths to the 20lb ESP stuff which takes a fair bit to break on a straight pull.

I hope their other products are a tad better than this as a fair few people seem to be using power carp that I've spoken to.

I thought I'd try it as it's a bit thinner than the ESP so easier to get through some hook eyes. I'll just keep using the ESP now though as I just can't trust something that breaks so easily.
