Hi, can anyone help me,, there is a specimen carp lake (locked gate) right next to seighford lakes(doxey nr stafford)..only info on gate says private fishing, H.A.S Padlock number the same as ladyfields... Anyone that can help me find out if its a syndicate water or club water ,, cheers andy.

hi andy, yes hanley anglers. fished it myself 3 -4 years ago with one or two others on here. pukka looking fish some stunners in the mid 20 bracket. biggest i had was 29.2 a heavilly plated mirror. unfortuanatly due to floods, and apparent fish walking there seems to be very little left. one or two of the better 20s seem to remain but most have gone. some even into the water your probably fishing!! or so im told....pity as there was 5 fish in the 27-30 pound bracket, i had 3 of em but the sub 28lb plus and the slopping head fish 28lber managed to elude me.
