not a problem for me mate,i knocked winter fishing on the head a long time ago,i cant catch in summer let alone winter wave

Not just you too... I haven't caught a decent Carp in over 2 yrs..... Well not anything over 15lb that is.
Perth is a waste land for any type of Carp fishing.
