now'is it just me or are those perfectly constructive topics??? or is it am getting abit close to the truth for somebody's confort! i do know of a member of nm who over the year's has alegedly illgeal moved fish over the cheshire area

i have seen with my own eyes fish being moved from a syndicate water to a stock pond aganist the wishers of a syndicate leader and now am being told that this person has been caught doing it on club waters and other cheshire meres
now am not trying to course trouble i just want this type of behaviour to be out the region i luv and to be stamped out!the worse thing is the person who is doing it knows quite well that he should not be doing this also a person involed is of authority for a club with top northwest big fish waters i think this is a man with a load gun that is going to kill alot of top norhtwest carp and should only be incharge of himself catching carp

Appears very harsh it’s not as if you have named any names? In fact your posts are fairly cryptic and tame on NM compared with what you have written above. I would Email Julian if I was you, he has always come across as reasonable and fair in my experience, it could be a case of one of the Moderators being over enthusiastic or even as you have implied working to an agenda.

If there is any truth behind it, I find your post very disturbing. I thought these sort of practices were consigned to the distant past. There is no excuse in this day and age, we all know the risks and implications to our current stocks of fish. “Top North West Carp” are thin on the ground and as such vastly important to our region. Anybody putting those fish at risk by illegally moving carp into an established lake, fully knowing the implications are a disgrace to the sport and if caught deserve to be black balled from every club/syndicate in the country.

That all said, it is unwise and unfair to point the finger at any individual without proof, so please no names or further hints to the identity of the individual/s suspected/known to be moving fish?

Sad times indeed plus sooner or later it will backfire and spoil it for the lads who put sooo much time trying to catch them . I was fishing a lymn water for a couple of years , and on the second session i saw a lovely common carp of about 28 LB swimming along and i thought wow i want to catch that spent a year or so learning my trade , methods etc building up to being able to catch a fish like that and being experienced to deal with it once caught. I stopped fishing in the October of that year and moved onto my local canal for a few winter sessions only for a baillif to stop us for a chat check tickets etc then he said this " This is were i slipped the big common out of Wxxxxxx xxxl about four months ago he said " To say i was shocked was an understatement, plus i felt as an angler deceived and let down by the illegal practises of the club. didnt fish a lymn water again ...
