last weeks visit was cancelled for a one off gig that had to be experienced,so baited the swim again instead...

wednesday evening
I knew utd`s match was gonna be a crunch match,didn`t think we`d get past roma with the depleated squad and without rio this one was gonna be harder,where better to not to get too stressed about it than just getting to the lake just before kick-off.then setting up during the game whilst listening to the whooo`s an arghhh`s on the radio...easy!!!!
managed to get all four rods with stick mixes on and out and fire a little bait round each one before the second half,straight away got liners which took my mind off the game,towards the end of the disappointing second half, movement in the swim surpassed any negative feelings of the game.turned off the radio and chilled in absolute relaxation.
got a great feeling on this visit as the evening drawn to a close,slight 5mph breeze steady all the time right into my margin.i lay on the top of the sleeping bag feeling reet comfortable with myself and the surroundings like the feeling of when it all comes together,a first for this season on here.
I awoke to a bream in the early hours,then got a tench in the middle of the hottest part of the next day...
..all in all ,no carp but the best 24hrs fishing for a long time!!!roll on tomorrow...buzzing!!!!

24 hours, no fish of any kind,no signs,back to square one on the bigg`n,still not fazed by this,even more determined,hopefully the wind will blow in my favour on the next trip!!!can`t w8!!!

48 hrs not a bleep,drifting weed is making life difficult on the bigg`n and virtually impossible to fish,one last go coming up,then if conditions no better it`ll have to be hunt and roam, stalk tactics until september...bait will be kept mass pre-baited in the designated areas until fishable..time for something different i reckon!!!

Right then ..since i am in the mood for change this year,I am gonna try and fill this blogg with captures as i`m going to be fishing waters,whats pressured but do have a few fish in,for a change

Arrived at 2pm tues this week and by 4.30pm had this beaut...fought hard and heavy and kept slow an deep..but after surfacing twice it was in the net...nice...no-one around to help with piccies so quick snip n back...

2nd time out this year..new water first night sunday and monday morn.. left hand rod was off at 4-30 am..and a nice 26-04 mirror graced this newcommers net after a long slow sturdy battle..roll on summer
