Regarding the day, tickets cost £40 on the bank and £50 per person on the boats, min two people, £10 from the sale of every ticket has gone to the prize fund which Fox has supported with £3k of tackle, all other monies will go to the charity.
At the present time we have just one boat left and 30 odd bank places.
There are £3000 worth of Fox tackle vouchers to be won on the day which includes a first prize of £750, plus 2nd and 3rd prizes of £500 and £350. In addition there are prizes for the largest and smallest pike and zander as well as 4 section prizes.
With regards to the raffle, we currently have between £8000 and £9000 worth of prizes donated so far which include holidays to the Ebro, loads of tackle, tackle vouchers, clothing and hundreds of day tickets. A full list of the prizes can be viewed on the website. Quite a few tackle shops have raffle tickets now, but these are mainly in the South, however the easiest way to buy tickets is online, tickets cost just £1 (minimum £5 spend online) or if people buy multiples, they get extra tickets free, so buy 50 tickets and get 15 free!
Regarding the auction, this offers the chance for anglers to fish with some of the stars of angling whilst some of the days will also be featured as articles in leading angling publications giving the lucky winners a moment of fame whilst the Duncan Charman/Alan Stagg Zander day also includes loads of tackle for the lucky winners with rods and
reels being donated by Korum whilst Gardner tackle will be supplying a full range of end tackle and line. So far we have days given by Dean Macey and Neil Wayte, Ian Russell and Ron Buss, Gary Newman, Ben Hamilton, Alan Stagg and Duncan Charman, Russ Evans and our own predator guru Eric Bailey.
We need everyone's help getting the details of this day out to as many anglers as possible."
