A carp angler needs alot of luck, I base my personal carp captures purely on this luck that happens. The advice below is valuable to all.

Remember to be a carp angler one must always rub a piece of wood whenever possible with a fore finger from the right hand, avoid old women who squint, keep away from ladders, aquire a rabbits foot, always salute a magpie, make sure you throw salt over your left shoulder regularley, make friends with a black cat and turn your money under a new moon and finally....please don't start fishing on a friday because I want a good peg.

Oyster you've still got a lot to learn when it comes to superstition, remember the kettle handle incident wink

Plus look at your post count, that's got to be a multiple of nelson - coincidence - I don't think so cool

All worthy contenders, but as young Mark is the only one I know personally I have to admit he's definitely got the knack, which he combines with hard graft to produce some outstanding results.

I very much doubt this will be his last nomination.
