I hate it when some muppet decides to spod out just on feeding time, usually just on dusk aaaarrrggghhh. Thank feck most of these types only get outa the bivvy at about 10am so the morning is usually quiet.

I count my blessings for angling at such a wonderful water. Sorry,, got carried away then.. Paul , you fished there in the 80s

I fish the same place as John and the etiquette is the same now and has been been for years!! Its like walking back in time..

Compared to some of the Northwest waters, its a place to simply enjoy your fishing along with other like minded anglers!

One thing I should point out too is that etiquette in general has gone down the cack pipe, not just in angling. Having worked as a Ranger for several years I saw the public go from generally reasonable with a smattering of idiots to mainly abusive idiots out for what they can get, with no consideration or care for anyone else or anything present (wildlife, hard landscaping, etc). Infact in my last 6 months as a Ranger we had abuse off almost everyone we spoke to, which kind of made working to create a nice, safe site with lots of wildlife for people to enjoy a bit pointless.

LOL andy good shout

YOU HAD OWT MATE ! while siting there between 4-5am in the morning watch-in the day start! in my tooked away swim where no one can get to you because of a step hill and step slop

i turned my head and hushed a very rood person ! i am in the margin mate SSSSSHHHHH quite and because he is 30ft above me he shouts what did you say mate in his deep warrington acksent!

now bearing in mind some fook-in warrington dipstick had just poped his head in my Carpbedroom and shouted at the top of his voice twice! fook-in stem ears overload !
but did i do it no i kept calm
i started to approach him and wave him away

but then the guy started to walk down the 30ft hill to meet me
NO stop mate dont come down that hill next thing he was rolling down hill landing on the bivvy.I could not beleave my eyes

You could not make this up the guy laughs and then starts to come close to me to talk ! hand was straight out no mate go away

now after that little morning madness i had seen fish over the other side so i packed up at 10am! picks the rods up leaning
on the hill only to find out my morning dipstick raid had also snaped my fox rod all £250 worth ! now as you can guess! you got to find the dipstick so i run round that pond checked every nook and cranny could i find him not a chance he was just walking around the pond to check it out

hows that andy bet ye hands down on bump-in into warrington dipsticks

Perhaps the Warrington dipsticks should pass a motion at the AGM, putting a Warrington area radius around the lake....?woot

That would stop Scousers fishing it! yay yay lol

Yeah, fished with him for years.

Aint done much on there this year but its always a pleasure to fish!

Shame other waters can't be the same!! I won't fish at the weekends in the Northwest, rather do it in Shropshire..

JDB complaining about other anglers being noisey on the bank. I guess what goes around has certainly gone around in this case lol lol
