More likely to be used by those who convince themselves that they need a rig like it... whistle

I used to tie rigs like that when I was bored. I even caught fish on a lot of them, but mostly in spite of the complexity of the rig, not because of it crazy

You'll grow out of it, eventually thumbsup

ok,am gonna get T-rig going again woot,so with this idea..and being a bit of a long shot like everything in carping anyway..thought i`d add a little further input to see what you think...

what if...the looped hair in the piccy which is looped on the 45lb nylon..which the oval ring is then clamped behind the hair ..locking in the hair and bait in that position...

what if the hair was attached to the oval ring instead...???

you`d be able to test if you`d been done by a rig sitter as when you reel in.. the ring would have come off the nylon.. but bait still attached to the oval ring..and furthermore still attached to the hook...

now after trying this and it proved fruitful..would that give you any confidence as to try it without guide ropes???
