I'm just wondering what are your thoughts on these two types of mainlines. I have just changed to using braid and even though I get far better 'contact' with the fish and am worried about reports I have heard that the braid can 'cut' the fish while I am playing it.
What do you think? What do you use?

I tend to use mono for main line and braid on marker rods, but I dont fish at distance very regularly.
