Have you ever got the point where you just see carp fishing as a load of fcucking bollox?

I've had enough of it this year, even mid week is stitched up. Too many dickheads spending too long on the bank.

What's really done it for me though this time,and I'll gladly accept that it's more than likely just me who feels like this, is just the sheer selfishness of people. The lengths that people are going to, in terms of the amount of time they spend on the bank, the amount of bait they're putting in, rule breaking, intimidation and general bullsh1t.

What comes next when the 3 day sessions or kilo's of bait or planned stitch up's don't come off? How you gonna' keep your 'results' up when the next bloke starts using a set-line or a fcuking trawler net?

All just for fcucking bragging rights.

Honestly I've had enough of it. The whole chav infested culture of Carp fishing these days is geared towards the adolescent hero worship of what are often, or at least appear to be very, very dull people whose only talents and achievements seem to be spending huge amounts of their 'proffesional' time boring semi-tame carp after semi-tame into submission - Hutchy and Binyon they're most definitely not. It's stupid and I'm not sure I want to be a part of it any more there's more to life and certainly a lot more to fishing


Anyway,bollox to it. I've had me moan and I'm off to dig out out my Chub rod and Creel.
