can someone enlighten me as to why the hard man of the forum believes this place to be better then ANYWHERE else???
is that part of the joining terms and conditions on this lake??
it is my duty to agitate and provoke responses behind a computer screen to ANYONE AND EVERYONE that doesnt fish clifton!
the small print: you may look like a bell end when carrying out these actions, but you must carry on regardless!
is there a little box you have to sign at the bottom?
please note, no offense intended to what i call the 'proper' anglers fishing this water!

How many swims are being prebaited Is it ok for other anglers to fish these swims if there free and fish showing or is it bad etiquette ??? Your thoughts Hard one really, if you know that someone is baiting and you catch over it you are accused of doing it on others hard work but if you don't know this info then you are only fishing on showing fish. On my last year (2006) on there I picked my autumn spot in May and sat in it whilst all around were catching in their preferred swims. When the fished moved into the area where two of was constantly baiting it was game over for the rest as we then kept the fish in that area from the 3rd week in August until the end of October. No one fished in my swim out of respect for my hard summer of blanking. I also picked a swim that no one ever fished except bit bashers. Have to say that I would have been a bit peeved if there was any regular fishing in my swim after putting in over 100kg of bolie on the same spots for months! so to answer your question it is wether you know or not I suppose and if you can be really happy knowing that you done it off someone els's back.

If the fish are showing in any area of the lake and it's free from anglers, you should get in it it's called angling ? , at the end of the day it is a council park lake and a busy one at that makes you laugh how people try to claim a certain swim's so they can always get a peg for there 5 day sessions lol Thats the law of the jungle, enter at your own peril
